Abrash Gallerie offers both new and antique rugs for today’s contemporary taste. Every carpet in the gallerie is personally selected by Tuba Gokoglu, the owner of the gallerie. Her collection covers a wide spectrum of designs without compromising quality, beauty, and the integrity of the art form. Each piece is a unique creation from the best weaving producers of the world which are known for their leadership in re-creating the “Renaissance” in the oriental rug industry. These companies, such as Woven Legends, Megerian Rugs,  Asia MinorI.M. About The Owner

Tuba Gokoglu is the founder and owner of Abrash Gallerie. She is an alumna of Case Western Reserve University (1990) where she studied Management Science. After spending 10 years in the banking industry as a manager, Tuba studied the art of oriental rugs for a few years, and started her own gallery in a local interior design store in 2002. After experiencing a great growth of her business, she decided to move her gallery to a different location to make it a stand-alone business. Abrash Gallerie was “born” in December 2006.

 

Tuba is an immigrant to the US from her home country of Turkey. She is married and the mother of two daughters. Her husband Suleyman, is a Senior Scientest at NASA Glenn Research Center. Her older daughter Seda is a graduate student at Emerson College in Boston, MA studying Integrated Marketing Communication, and her younger daughter Aysun is a sophomore at Boston University in Boston, MA studying Engineering. Tuba’s husband and daughters lend a helping hand around the gallerie whenever they have a spare moment.
